Lesson learnt

On returning to the UK last week from France, the alternator began making an awful noise ,as if something was catching on the pulley.

on further investigation the problem was found the alternator shaft was moving 10mm meaning pulley was grinding on the casing at idle , the rear bearing had collapsed ,not pleased as the alternator was only fitted in November 2015 ,flea bay special well lesson learnt go cheap wont last, luckily had a spare.

Got to fit in some maintenance  in next couple of weeks ,rear wheel bearings ,and whilst its all apart rear brake shoes .Then its just general visual and greasing all ready for another local camping trip over a weekend .
